Improvisation
Improv is my other love. Since 2013 I’ve been improvising via online workouts 45 weeks a year. I love improvisation so much, I founded LoveThatImproVO, the only online training for voice actors to learn and practice improvisation and apply it to voice over. I believe that improv has personal and professional benefits that ignite and catalyze creative individuality.
Performance
Today I only work as a female voice actor in the voice over industry, but previously I appeared on stage in regional comedy theater in California, and on-camera as an actress and host for television, indie film and commercials. I played the drug addicted Aunt Gina in the short film Flashcards which premiered at Cannes and aired on PBS. I also played a season as Ida from New Jersey in the improv dinner theater comedy Joni and Gina’s Wedding in Hollywood.
Training
I trained at several schools including The Voice Factory and BATS in San Francisco, and The Sanford Meisner Center in Hollywood. My first voiceover job was from my first audition for The Voice Factory. I continue to train in workshops and private coaching.
